As Volvo World Match Play found its way back to London, Mikko found his way back to the Winner’s Circle.

Facing the reigning Race to Dubai Champion in the final, he assumed control at the turn, and never really relinquished it. The par three 14th proved deciding, where Henrik Stenson just missed his chip for birdie, only to have to step aside and watch as Mikko calmly stoked the 12 footer for a superb birdie to go three up with four to play.

From there the writing was on the wall. This is Mikko’s second Title of the season and sets him up very well for the closing stretch on the European Tour. It also propels Mikko to the 37th spot on the World Golf Ranking.
