The Major season is under way

April 8th, 2013

Caroline Hedwall kicked off the Major season with and excellent finish and a career best 3rd position at Nabisco Championship in Palm Springs California. Her patient attitude paid off in the end and this performance sets up an interesting season for her. She is fit and her game is in excellent shape as she looks forward to the ensuing Majors: The LPGA Championship (June 6-9, Pittsford NY), US Open (June 27-30, Southampton, NY), British Open (August 1-4, Fife, Scotland) and the Evian Championship (September 12-15, Evian, France).

But, the next Major for Caroline is actually just around the corner, as she is headed for Augusta and the Masters. Championship caliber golfers are to be found both sides of the ropes this week. This is a pilgrimage to inspire.

Another highlight of the year is the Solheim Cup, played biannually between the Americans and the Europeans. This year played in Parker, CO in the US. Caroline will always have this event penciled in following the experience last time around in her debut.

This weekend was a substantial building block in making the European side. All in all a good week’s work!
